Welcome

We’re so glad you’re coming. Everything you need for your stay is on this page, and if it isn’t, ring us. Anna & Tomas

Arriving

Check-in

From 3pm. If you’re arriving later, send us a note and we’ll leave a light on.

Finding us

Leave the valley road at the old mill sign and follow the lane for two kilometres. Your phone’s map will lose signal at the bridge, so keep going.

Parking

There’s room for a car beside every stay.

Keys

We’ll send your door code to your phone on the morning you arrive. It isn’t on this page, for your safety and ours.

While you’re here

Wi-Fi

The network is LarchAlder Guest. The password is on the card by the kettle.

Heating

The stove does most of the work, and the wood is in the basket by the door. The radiators run on the dial in the hallway.

Rubbish and recycling

Bins are by the gate. Glass goes in the green crate, and we collect it on Mondays.

Hot water

It takes about a minute to come through, because the pipes are older than we are.

House rules

Quiet

Quiet after ten, please. Sound carries along the valley.

Smoking

Outside only, and please take your ends with you.

Dogs

Welcome at The Larch, The Alder and The Hazel, though not on the beds.

Gates

Please shut every gate behind you. The neighbour’s sheep know how to use an open one.

Local tips
